Made of only premium quality heavy weight hide leather not from inferior bonded or split leather.
These heavy weight hide belts will start with a slight stiffness which settles in during initial use. The premium leather will keep its shape - with no bowing around the back - and the belt will last for years and years.
The buckle is interchangeable allowing the belt strap to be used with other buckles including the American style belt buckles which might typically have Jack Daniels - Southern Comfort - Country and Western - USA and other similar themes.
The belt is available in black or brown hide and in 2 different widths as well as in four different approx. lengths -
Small (28''/71.1cm - 33"/84cm)
Medium (32''/81cm - 36"/91.5cm)
Large (36''/91.5cm - 40"/101.5cm)
XL (40''/101.5cm - 44"-111cm)
As a rule of thumb your belt size needs to be approx. 2" (5cm) bigger than your actual waist size. Many trousers do not sit on your waist but slightly lower therefore its important to take the measurement with your trousers on and where the belt is intended to be worn i.e. the measurement maybe nearer your hip measurement than your waist. If you are unsure of which size to buy we would always suggest ordering a slightly larger belt rather than one that might just fit as you can always add an extra hole but you cant extend the length of the belt.
The 40mm (1 ½ inch) width is commonly used with Jeans.
The 30mm (1 ¼ inch) width can also be used with Jeans for those that prefer a slightly narrower belt and also other trousers with narrower loops than are typically found on jeans. Women sometimes prefer this narrower width.
Please note that these belts are not really suitable for use with suits and similar clothing where we would recommend a lighter weight of leather.
